THE IMPORTANCE AND POSSIBILITIES OF MUSEUM PEDAGOGY IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM

this article analyzes the importance and capabilities of museum pedagogy in the development of the educational system on the basis of a comprehensive approach. It highlights the role of museums as an important component of the modern educational space, in addition to the traditional preservation of cultural heritage. In particular, the pedagogical potential of museum pedagogy in shaping historical thinking, cultural awareness, aesthetic taste, and social competencies in students is scientifically substantiated. The article also analyzes the stages of formation and development of museum pedagogy based on the experience of developed foreign countries and evaluates their advanced aspects from a comparative perspective. The study will reveal the role of interactive methods, innovative pedagogical technologies, digital platforms, and virtual tours used in modern museums in improving educational effectiveness. In addition, the importance of integrative cooperation between museums and educational institutions is highlighted, and the role of this cooperation in ensuring active student participation, developing independent thinking skills, and strengthening practical knowledge is demonstrated. According to the research results, museum pedagogy is recognized as one of the important innovative areas of the modern education system and is concluded to be an effective pedagogical tool that serves the comprehensive development of the individual.
