ATIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE EDUCATION: A TOOL FOR MOTIVATING MODERN LEARNERS

The introduction of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the development of the modern education system is one of the most pressing issues. Worldwide, digital transformation processes are showing profound changes in all fields, particularly in education. The advantage of artificial intelligence is that it plays an important role in automating the assessment of the learning process, organizing education tailored to students' needs, and facilitating teachers' activities. The Republic of Uzbekistan is also consistently implementing work in the direction of widely introducing modern digital technologies in education and effectively using artificial intelligence within the framework of the “Digital Uzbekistan – 2030” strategy. The essence of the article is to analyze the theoretical foundations of introducing artificial intelligence technologies in the education system, international experience, and the opportunities and challenges in the context of Uzbekistan.
