Abstract

The article covers the state of general secondary education institutions in the Uzbek SSR, in particular in the Kashkadarya region in 1950-1970. The achievements and shortcomings of the education system in the region during this period, the backwardness of the education system, the lack of classrooms, and the orientation of education to political goals are covered in detail. The need for school education as a result of the population growth in the Kashkadarya region is also indicated.
