LINGUISTIC CREATIVITY AND AUTHORIAL STYLE IN ENGLISH LITERARY LANGUAGE BY [YOUR SISTER'S NAME] | DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH LITERATURE AND LINGUISTICS
Abstract
Language in literature is never merely a vehicle for meaning — it is meaning itself. This article examines how English literary authors deploy linguistic creativity as a defining marker of their individual style, arguing that the deliberate manipulation of syntax, lexis, figurative language, and narrative voice constitutes the very DNA of literary identity. Drawing on examples from canonical and contemporary English literature, the article explores how authorial style emerges not from what writers say, but from how they say it.
