Abstract

Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) is an innovative approach that combines the teaching of subject content with foreign language learning. In English lessons, CLIL technology provides an opportunity for students to acquire both linguistic skills and subject knowledge simultaneously. This approach promotes cognitive development, critical thinking, and motivation among learners. This article explores the principles of CLIL, its implementation in English classrooms, and the potential challenges and benefits associated with its use. Practical strategies for integrating CLIL into lessons are also discussed, emphasizing its role in improving both language proficiency and subject understanding.
