THE ROLE OF INTEGRATED SKILLS IN ENHANCING EFL LEARNERS’ LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT

This article examines the role of integrated language skills in enhancing English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners’ overall language development. The study highlights the importance of combining reading, writing, listening, and speaking in the learning process instead of teaching them separately. It argues that integrated skills better reflect real-life communication and improve learners’ communicative competence. The paper discusses the benefits of this approach, including increased motivation, improved fluency, and deeper comprehension. It also analyzes how integrated classroom activities contribute to more effective learning outcomes. The findings suggest that students who are exposed to integrated skills instruction demonstrate higher levels of engagement and confidence. Moreover, the study emphasizes the role of teachers in designing meaningful and interactive tasks. The results confirm that integrated skills teaching is more effective than traditional methods. Overall, the article concludes that integrating language skills is essential for developing practical communication abilities in EFL learners.
