CLASSIFICATION OF VECTORIZATION METHODS IN THE RASTER2VECTOR MOBILE APPLICATION

This article presents a classification and analysis of the vectorization methods implemented in the Raster2Vector mobile application. The study examines the interrelationships among the algorithms used in the raster-to-vector conversion process, including edge detection, image segmentation, contour extraction, and polygonal approximation. Furthermore, the image processing stages implemented using the OpenCV library and their impact on vectorization quality are discussed. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the Raster2Vector mobile application in converting complex raster images into high-precision vector objects.
