Abstract

This paper explores the advantages and disadvantages of gamification and successful implementation in universities of Uzbekistan without reducing the quality of education. In 21st century, innovations in the education system are increasing, and one of them is gamification. When properly implemented, gamification positively affects the quality of lessons by increasing student motivation, engagement, and knowledge retention. However, if not carefully designed, it may lead to superficial learning, over-reliance on rewards, and competition stress.
