Abstract

Today, the Internet and social networks have a very strong influence on the development of language. In this process, many new words and expressions are appearing in the English language, and at the same time, they also have a significant impact on the language. In particular, new words in the English language - neologisms and various Internet slang - are often appearing and are widely used. Often, such expressions are created for short, convenient and quick writing, but over time they become part of ordinary communication. Such words are especially popular among young people, through which emotions and relationships are expressed more freely. Although in some cases such words do not correspond to official language standards, they serve to make communication fast, convenient and sincere. As a result, it is clear that language is an ever-changing system and the Internet plays an important role in this process. In general, Internet slang and new words are closely related to the life of modern society and play an important role in the development of language.
