Ushbu maqolada chaqaloqlar retinopatiyasi (Retinopathy of Prematurity - ROP)ning etiologiyasi, patogenezi, klinik belgilari, xavf omillari va zamonaviy davolash yondashuvlari keng tahlil qilinadi. Muddatidan oldin tug‘ilgan chaqaloqlarda ko‘p uchraydigan ushbu kasallik to‘r pardaning normal qon tomirlari rivojlanishi buzilishi natijasida yuzaga kelib, o‘z vaqtida aniqlanmasa og‘ir ko‘rish nuqsonlariga yoki butunlay ko‘rlikka olib kelishi mumkin. Maqolada ROPning bosqichlari, diagnostika usullari, lazer koagulyatsiyasi, anti-VEGF terapiya va vitreoretinal jarrohlikning samaradorligi ilmiy manbalar asosida o‘rganiladi. Shuningdek, neonatal parvarish, kislorod terapiyasini nazorat qilish va skrining dasturlarining kasallikning oldini olishdagi ahamiyati yoritiladi. Tadqiqot natijalari chaqaloqlar retinopatiyasini erta aniqlash va samarali davolash orqali bolalarda ko‘rish qobiliyatini saqlab qolish imkoniyatlari yuqori ekanligini ko‘rsatadi.
