Ushbu ilmiy maqolada tog‘-chang‘i kurortlarining shakllanish bosqichlari, ularning hududiy rivojlanishdagi o‘rni hamda rekreatsion komplekslarni rivojlantirishdagi ahamiyati tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqot obyekti sifatida Qashqadaryo viloyatining G‘elon qishlog‘i tanlab olinib, hududning tabiiy-geografik salohiyati, iqlim sharoiti va turizm infratuzilmasini rivojlantirish imkoniyatlari o‘rganiladi. Maqolada tog‘-chang‘i kurortlarining shakllanishi bir necha bosqichlarga — boshlang‘ich o‘zlashtirish, infratuzilma shakllanishi, faol rivojlanish va diversifikatsiya bosqichlariga ajratilib, har bir bosqichning o‘ziga xos xususiyatlari ochib beriladi. Shuningdek, xalqaro tajriba asosida kurort-rekreatsion komplekslarni rivojlantirish mexanizmlari tahlil qilinadi. Tadqiqot natijalariga ko‘ra, G‘elon qishlog‘ida tog‘-chang‘i turizmini rivojlantirish orqali hududiy iqtisodiy o‘sishni ta’minlash, yangi ish o‘rinlarini yaratish va turizm xizmatlari diversifikatsiyasiga erishish mumkinligi asoslab beriladi.
