Ushbu maqolada Catharanthus roseus (L.) G. Don o‘simligini in vitro sharoitida mikroko‘paytirishning biotexnologik asoslari hamda uning biologik faol ikkilamchi metabolitlar sintezidagi ahamiyati tahlil qilingan. Tadqiqotda eksplantlarni sterilizatsiya qilish, Murashige-Skoog oziqa muhiti tarkibi, fitogormonlarning kallus hosil bo‘lishi va regeneratsiya jarayoniga ta’siri haqidagi ilmiy ma’lumotlar umumlashtirilgan. Shuningdek, o‘simlik tarkibidagi vinkristin va vinblastin kabi alkaloidlarning farmatsevtik ahamiyati hamda ularni in vitro texnologiyalar asosida olish istiqbollari yoritilgan. Catharanthus roseus o‘simligini hujayra va to‘qima kulturasi asosida ko‘paytirish dorivor xomashyo yetishtirish va qimmatli metabolitlar biosintezini boshqarishda samarali biotexnologik usul ekanligini ko‘rsatdi.
