Mazkur maqolada autizm spektr buzilishiga ega bo‘lgan bolalarda kognitiv sohalarning rivojlanishidagi o‘ziga xosliklar ilmiy-nazariy jihatdan tahlil qilingan bo’lib, maqolada autizm sindromli bolalarda sezgi, diqqat, xotira, tafakkur, idrok, hayol xususiyatlarining buzilishi bu toifa bolalarning ijtimoiy moslashuv, ta’lim jarayonidagi ishtiroki va kommunikativ faolligiga bevosita salbiy ta’sir ko‘rsatishi ochib berilgan. Maqolada autizmli bolalar kognitiv rivojlanishini o’rganish borasida xorijiy ilmiy tadqiqotlar va amaliy tajribalar bilan bir qatorda O‘zbekiston sharoitida olib borilayotgan psixologik-pedagogik yondashuvlar qiyosiy tahlil asosida yoritilgan.
