Ushbu maqolada O‘zbekistonda bozor iqtisodiyotining shakllanishi va rivojlanishining nazariy asoslari, bosqichlari hamda o‘ziga xos jihatlari tahlil etilgan. Vashington konsensusi, institutsional iqtisodiyot nazariyasi va tranzit iqtisodiyot modellari (Sachs, Kornai, Stiglitz) asosida O‘zbekistonning o‘tish tajribasi ko‘rib chiqilgan. 2016–2023-yillar davomidagi iqtisodiy islohotlar natijasida YaIM o‘sishi, xorijiy investitsiyalar va kichik biznes rivojlanishi dinamikasi empirik usullarda baholangan.
