Ushbu maqolada XXI asrda AQSh tashqi siyosatining asosiy yo‘nalishlari va ularning prezidentlar almashinuvi fonida evolyutsiyasi tahlil qilinadi. G.Bush, B.Obama, D.Trump (ikkita muddatda) va J.Bayden ma'muriyatlarining tashqi siyosiy kurslari qiyosiy tarzda ko‘rib chiqiladi. Maqolada terrorizmga qarshi kurashdan global strategik raqobatga o‘tish, xalqaro ittifoqlar va institutlarga yondashuvdagi o‘zgarishlar, Xitoy va Rossiya bilan munosabatlar, hamda Yevropaning strategik avtonomiyaga intilishi kabi muhim masalalar tadqiq etiladi. Tadqiqot shuni ko‘rsatadiki, turli prezidentlar turlicha yondashuvlarni qo‘llasalar-da, AQSh tashqi siyosatining umumiy strategik maqsadi - global yetakchilikni saqlab qolish va milliy manfaatlarni himoya qilishdan iborat.
