Abstract

This thesis examines the use of dialog-based activities as an effective approach to developing speaking skills among beginner English learners (A1 level). At the initial stage of language learning, students often face difficulties in oral communication due to limited vocabulary, insufficient grammatical knowledge, and psychological barriers. Dialog-based activities provide learners with opportunities to practice simple language structures in realistic and meaningful communicative situations. This study highlights the role of such activities in increasing learners’ speaking confidence, participation, and communicative competence. The findings indicate that dialog-based tasks are an effective methodological tool for improving speaking skills at the beginner level of English language learning.
