Abstract

The article examines the theoretical foundations and practical mechanisms of improving the human resource (HR) management system through the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. The study clarifies the conceptual content of AI-driven HR management, systematises the main functional domains in which intelligent technologies are applied — recruitment and selection, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, talent retention, and workforce analytics — and analyses the organisational, ethical, and methodological conditions for their effective integration. A conceptual model of an AI-enabled HR management cycle is proposed, distinguishing the descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive levels of analytics. The findings indicate that the value of AI in HR is realised not through the replacement of human judgement but through the augmentation of managerial decision-making, provided that data quality, algorithmic transparency, and employee trust are ensured. Practical recommendations are formulated for organisations seeking to implement AI tools in a responsible and sustainable manner.
