Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become one of the most influential technological innovations of the twenty-first century. Its applications have expanded into numerous fields, including linguistics. AI technologies have transformed linguistic research by enabling the analysis of large language datasets, improving language processing systems, and supporting language learning and translation. This article examines the role of AI in linguistic research, its advantages, challenges, and future prospects, as well as a personal perspective on its practical usefulness.
